West Coast Coming Home to a New Earth

An L/L Research Event

June 27–30, 2024

L/L Research is happy to announce the 2024 West Coast Coming Home to a New Earth Gathering! Celebrating its sixth iteration and L/L’s very first bi-coastal offering, this event has become a container for transformation, awakening, and community of the open heart.

Our focus for this year's gathering continues to be on actively cooperating with and supporting the increasing 4D-positive energies in a more dedicated fashion, both individually and collectively. How can we embody unconditional love? How can we serve the healing of our planet and its peoples? How can we discover and share our particular gifts? What would it mean to deepen our commitment to fulfilling our individually unique paths? etc.

Before registering for this event, please read the Cost, Lodging, and Travel sections below.

Begins: Thursday, June 27, at 5:00 PM PT
Ends: Sunday, June 30, with an evening dinner

Where:
North Bend, Washington (about 40 min east of Seattle in no traffic) at the gorgeous non-profit retreat space, Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center. Just look at the pictures!

Format:
This retreat will employ Open Space Technology (OST), which is an approach to event organization where participants co-create the content, the value, the culture, and the leadership that maximizes potential for positive experience. In an Open Space gathering, the agenda is not predetermined (though we will have several pre-planned experiences on the schedule). On the first evening of the event, we will introduce OST and how it works, facilitating the group in co-creating the agenda that will make up the bulk of the sessions or content for the weekend.

And, if you should feel so moved (we hope you are!), please come prepared with something you would like to share with the group, whether a presentation, an activity, a discussion topic, or anything that may engage others in questions, explorations, and sharings in the spirit of the open heart.

Schedule:
Several whole-group events will be built into the schedule:

  • Thursday: Opening ceremonies, round robin, and authentic-relating games
  • Friday and Saturday: TBD
  • Sunday: Closing Ceremony around 6:00pm’ish

The schedule for Friday–Sunday will otherwise be determined by the group itself each day’s morning. The basic structure will look much like the 2023 Coming Home curriculum, with changes to meal times.

Cost:
The cost varies depending on which room you choose (see “Lodging” below). In addition to tuition, the cost will include:

  • lodging for 4 days/4 nights
  • eleven nutrition-packed super delicious meals: Dinner Thursday; Breakfast, lunch, and dinner Friday–Sunday; and Breakfast Monday morning.
  • tuition and event space

If you would love to attend but would be prohibited by financial limitation, we have scholarships available. Please contact us to ask.

And if you are interested in contributing toward scholarships (very helpful that), we have a scholarship fund for helping others.

If you should need to cancel, no worries, we can issue a full refund up to Monday, May 27th. After that it will be a 50% refund and the remainder will be allocated to the scholarship fund.

Meals:
The venue will cater all meals. They can fully accommodate vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, nut-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and gluten-free dietary needs. You will need to indicate your dietary needs when using the store to register.

Lodging Onsite:
Rainbow Lodge will be able to accommodate most attendees onsite through a variety of rooms. The cost for onsite lodging will depend on whether you are reserving a room for single- or double-occupancy.

If you are reserving for double-occupancy room, you will be paired with another attendee of the same gender. If there is a specific person you would like to share your multiple-occupancy room with, both you and the other-self you wish to room with will need to email us with that information upon registering.

For those lodging at Rainbow Lodge, check-in time is between 3:00pm and 5:00pm.

*To see descriptions of the rooms available at Rainbow Lodge, visit the Rainbow Lodge room layout page. [NOTE: We cannot accommodate specific room number requests. Also, please direct all lodging-related requests not to Rainbow Lodge but to us.]

Lodging Offsite:

Whether you live locally or would just prefer to lodge nearby, we have offsite seats available. However, to those needing nearby accommodations, we must be honest that good options are… limited.

Cheaper and closer accommodations include: North Bend Motel, Edgewick Inn, Mount Si Motel, and Sunset Motel. All have questionable reviews on TripAdvisor or elsewhere along with spartan amenities. There are however several AirBnBs in North Bend.

Twenty minutes away in Snoqualmie, there is the Snoqualmie Inn, which has much higher reviews but is also much more expensive.

Those staying off-site will have transportation assistance available to them from SeaTac airport on Thursday and back to SeaTac on Monday morning. Otherwise, they will be responsible for their transportation between their lodging and Rainbow Lodge each day.  If possible, however, we will try to find a way to offer transportation assistance if you are anywhere between Snoqualmie Inn and Rainbow Lodge.

Lodging on-site or not, we ask that attendees arrive in time to be present in the circle for a 5:00pm start. If you will be later, that’s okay, just let us know please.

Travel:
Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center is located at:
46820 SE Mount Si Road
North Bend, Washington 98045

The nearest airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SeaTac). In good traffic conditions, it is about an hour drive to the venue.

We are in the process of reserving a private shuttle to transport attendees from SeaTac to Rainbow Lodge on Thursday, and from Rainbow Lodge to SeaTac on Monday morning after the event.

Tentatively, the shuttles will depart:

  • SeaTac on Thursday, June 27, by 2:30pm PT at the latest
  • Rainbow Lodge on Monday, July 30 by 6:00am PT at the earliest

If this is of interest to you, select the "Yes" on the private charter add-on from this page.

If this does not work, there are rental car options available at the airport.

Registration:
Please self-register by answering the questions on this page and clicking “Add to cart,” completing the checkout process.

Note for anyone interested in seeing Jim: He does not do travel events these days but  sends his love and says he will be with us all in spirit.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions at events@llresearch.org. We hope to see you in the Pacific Northwest this June!
